From precision farming to regenerative agriculture, transforming agriculture worldwide.
Boosting efficiency, reducing waste, and opening new markets.
Entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers working together for a sustainable future.
One example Edith particularly enjoyed highlighting is the use of AI-driven robots in greenhouses with Dutch companies developing systems that selectively harvest vegetables such as tomatoes and bell peppers, reducing food waste and increasing yields by up to 20%. These systems also cut labour costs, giving Dutch greenhouses a competitive edge on the international market!
In addition, AI is being used to analyse data on soil conditions and weather patterns, enabling farmers to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and prevent crop losses. This demonstrates how AI can simultaneously foster sustainability and create economic opportunities.
