Thomas Klaarenbeek is an attorney-at-law at ACG International. He advises and represents clients in commercial and corporate disputes, financial law matters and civil liability cases. His practice focuses on matters in which contractual relationships, corporate governance, banking duties of care, integrity issues and regulatory standards intersect, often in an international context.
In addition to his legal practice, Thomas also serves as a compliance officer at a financial institution. In that capacity, he has particular expertise in compliance, integrity risks and the application of the Dutch Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Act (Wwft). This combination of litigation practice and compliance experience enables him to assess legal and regulatory issues in their full context.
